Rainbow Place Volunteers

Volunteers are essential to the delivery of Rainbow Place care. Working alongside Hospice staff, volunteers enable us to provide a number of additional services for patients and their family/whānau.

Caring for a loved one during this time can be very tiring. Hospice Waikato Family Support volunteers may be available in your area to visit and spend time with the patient, giving carers valuable time out.

Our volunteers are trained to provide these services with compassion, dignity and respect.
