Informed Consent
Before providing any care, staff will make sure you and your family are fully informed about what is likely to happen. You will be asked to agree to a care/treatment plan for your child and we encourage you to always ask for more information if you require.
Respect
You and your child will always be treated with respect. This includes respect for your culture, values and beliefs as well as the right to privacy for your family.
Proper standards
You and your child have the right to be treated with care and skill, and to receive services which reflect your families needs. All those involved in your child's care will work together for your family.
Communication
You have the right to be listened to, understood and to receive information in whatever way you need when it comes to your child's care. When it is necessary and practical, an interpreter should be available.
